It operates from 7 am to 11:30 pm and allows children up to 12 years old to ride for free.

The regional train on the Sabina-Fiumicino line (FR1) is a cheaper alternative to the Leonardo Express. The fare from Fiumicino to Rome is € 8 (US$ 8.60) each way and the train stops at Tiburtina, Tuscolana, Ostiense and Trastevere stations. From Ostiense/Piramide you can take the metro line B.

The regional train is a good option for people staying in these areas. It operates from 6:00 am to 11:30 pm.

Schiaffini, another reputable bus company, provides service between Rome and Fiumicino Airport. These buses connect Terminal 3 with Termini Station, departing between 6:05 am. and 8:25 pm every 45 minutes or so. One-way fares are priced at € 5 (US$ 5.40), while round trips cost € 8 (US$ 8.60).

Opting for a cab from Fiumicino to central Rome hotels has a fixed rate of € 50 (US$ 53.90), accommodating up to four passengers along with their luggage. It's worth mentioning that at night the price increases. Even so, it is always advisable to confirm the fare before going up to avoid possible misunderstandings. By law they cannot charge you more than € 70 (US$ 75.50).
